PURPOSE:To ensure the paper delivery by a delivery roller at the initial stage of the paper feed by forming the surface of the delivery roller in a rugged shape. CONSTITUTION:The convex tips of the rugged portion 12 of a delivery roller 11 are brought into contact with the tip of the lowermost original 8. A plurality of convex tips exist in the peripheral direction of the delivery roller 11. When the delivery roller 11 is rotated in an arrow direction, the convex tips of the rugged portion 12 pull the lowermost original 8 in the direction of an arrow A by scratching its tip. Accordingly, a sufficient friction force is obtained at the initial stage of the original feed, and the original 8 can be surely delivered. |
