PURPOSE:To make an adjustment of lead-in operation precisely in a short time, by setting a photocoupler supporting body where light emitted through a reflecting plate is almost photodetected when a stylus cartridge is at a lead-in position. CONSTITUTION:The photocoupler supporting body 7 has its movable part (supporting-body movable part) 7a adjusted nearly in the moving direction of a pickup arm 1 according to the rotation of an adjusting screw 6 provided to its fixed part (supporting-body fixed part) 7b. Firstly, a pickup arm 1 is set at a specific position, i.e. where the stylus cartridge 2 is led in. Then, the adjusting screw 6 is turned to adjust the position of the movable part 7a so that the light emitted from the light emission part 5a of a photocoupler 5 is reflected by the reflecting plate 4 and then photodetected by the photodetection part 5b of the photocoupler 5. After this position adjustment, said screw 6 is fixed in a freely rotatable state. |
