PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of the internal fluid through duct opening surely by fitting an opening sealing attachment, when the plate is removed, to the ground seal part of the duct opening part, into which the plate to shut the duct fluid port is inserted. CONSTITUTION:In a gate damper of such a type that the plate 2 is removed while the fluid is in circulation, an opening sealing attachment 3 having the same section as the plate 2, when the plate 2 is removed, is fitted on the ground seal part 4 of the duct opening part, in which the plate 2 is inserted. When fluid shut-off operation is to be made by inserting this plate 2, the tip of the plate 2 is coupled to the attachment 3 and, thereafter, the duct 1 is blocked by sliding these two 2, 3 together in the duct 1. According to this arrangement, operations are carried out without risk of internal fluid's leakage through the duct opening part. |
