PERSON COLLATIVE IDENTIFICATION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of code of picture data to shorten the read-out time by providing a read check means which projects a picture of person image data on a monitor for the purpose of visually comparing the person image read out from a storage medium and decoded with a user. CONSTITUTION:The person picture signal of a card register picked up by a TV camera 1 is subjected to feature extraction and compressed code conversion by a feature extracting circuit 5 and a compressed code converting circuit 7 and is written in a card 10. The compressed code written in the card 10 is read by a card reader 11 and is decoded and expanded by a decoding and expanding circuit 12 and is written in a frame memory 13 and is reproduced on a monitor television 14. Data of the live image of the card user picked up by a TV camera 15 is written in the frame memory 13 and is compared and collated with picture data decoded and expanded by the circuit 12 by a mechanical collating circuit 17. Thus, an operator compares them visually on the monitor television 14 and collates them mechanically to decide the result.
