LOADING ARM DRAINING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To enable quick draining of loading arm by connecting the liquid pipeline position to the blow down drum via the drain pipe and by connecting the N2 gas feed line to the upper end of the loading arm. CONSTITUTION:When loading of tank 7 through pipeline 8 is completed and valve AV-1 is still closed, valves AV-2 and AV-3 are opened and inert gas is pumped from the top of loading arm 1. Then, the liquid in outboard arm 2 flows to the vessel side via vessel side pipeline 3 and the liquid in inboard arm 4 flows to blow down drum 15 via drain pipe 14 quickly draining loading arm 1.
