GAS PANEL WITH IMPROVED DRIVE CIRCUITS A system for driving a plasma display panel is disclosed in which a transformer operated at a system clock frequency supplies voltage pulses to both the electrodes in the cells of the display device. Switching members operated by control signals generated by a control member select the cells to be discharged. A circuit for regulating the transformer output voltage in accordance with the number of cells discharged is also disclosed.
