PURPOSE:To prevent a heated thermoplastic resin from intruding between piles, by placing a carpet or the like on the inner surface of a movable mold in such a way that all the periphery of the carpet comes in contact with small projected walls of the mold, and filling the cavity thus formed in the mold with a heated thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The undersurface of the carpet 3 having piles 2 on opposite surfaces of the base fabric 1 thereof is lined with a binding enforcement 4, and it is cut into a described shape. The carpet 3 is place on a table plate with the undersurface up, a heating plate 5 is pressed thereon so that the piles 2 on the undersurface of the carpet are welded and fixed to the binding enforcement 4. Then after the carpet 3 is placed in the movable mold 6 with the surface of the carpet 3 engaged with the small projected walls of the mold, the movable mold 6 is forced to a stationary mold, and a heated and kneaded thermoplastic resin is injected through a sprue 10 into the cavity 9. |
