PURPOSE:To lift and convey a veneer always a fixed position by driving a sliding piece in the uppermost veneer during the lift/convey process of the veneer in the production line of the plywood. CONSTITUTION:A veneer 11 with the needle 8 of a sliding piece 3 driven in it is lifted, and its front end surface is coupled with a dead roller and the rear is coupled with a press roller 28. By an operation of a cylinder, a rod is lifted to away an arm 22 in an arrow direction, and a roller 14 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the veneer 11 so as to pinch the veneer 11 together with the dead roller and also remove the needle 8 from the veneer 11. Then, the roller 14 is driven to convey the veneer 11 to the next process. After the conveyance is completed, the power transmission to the roller 14 is stopped, the rod is extended to return the roller 14 to its original position, and the sliding piece 6 is descended to repeat the same cycle. |
