PURPOSE:To lower the capacity of control current for a control circuit upon motor load exceeding a predetermined value, by-passing the control circuit for controlling the motor in accordance with vehicle speed signals so that the motor is directly connected to a power source. CONSTITUTION:A relay 15 for controlling the feed of electrical current to a motor 13 is controlled by a control circuit 16 in accordance with vehicle speeds. Further, a by-path 31 bypassing the control circuit 16 is provided for directly connecting the relay 16 to a power source 25. The switching between the control circuit 16 and the by-path 31 is carried out by a relay 30. A solenoid 30b in the relay 30 is connected to a comparator 36 in a current discriminating circuit 33. An output voltage signal from a current detector 32 and an output signal from a reference voltage signal generator 35 are delivered to the comparator 36 through an amplifier 34. The current detector 32 detects current fed to a winding 13b in the motor 13 and the reference voltage signal generator 35 sets a predetermined value of current fed to the winding 13b of the motor. |
