PURPOSE:To prevent slackness in the setting part of a wiper pivot, by installing a pivot block on a car body by means of a coupling member which has the same coefficient of thermal expansion as the pivot block and is formed by molding both a nut part and an escutcheon plate part unificly as one body. CONSTITUTION:To attach and secure a wiper pivot 14 to a car body, a resin- make coupling member 16, which is formed by molding both a nut part and an escutcheon plate part 16b unificly as one body, is used for that attachment. When the wiper pivot 14 is attached to a car body panel, this wiper pivot 14 is inserted into the setting hole of a bracket 1 from underside while a base part 2b of a pivot block 2 is applied to the under surface of the bracket 1, then the coupling member 16 is installed from the upper side of the wiper pivot 14 and screwed tight. With this, the wiper pivot 14 is well secured to the car body panel via the bracket 1. Therefore, setting the wiper pivot 14 to the car body panel can be performed with lesser items of parts. |
