WIPER DEVICE IN FAIRING FOR MOTORCYCLE

PURPOSE:To make a wiper device compact by providing a wiper for a window screen and another wiper for a head light in a fairing and driving these wipers using the same wiper motor. CONSTITUTION:A unit base 2g is mounted in the recess 2a of a fairing mainframe 2 and a single wiper motor 7 and a transmission mechanism 8 that varies the revolution of the output axis of this wiper motor 7 into the reciprocal movement of the wiper arms 4b and 5b of the wiper 4 for a window screen and the wiper 5 for a head light are provided on this unit base 2g. Both wipers 4 and 5 are driven through the transmission mechanism 8 and the wiper axes 4a and 5a of both wipers 4 and 5 by means of the single wiper motor 7 and perform a reciprocal movement at the same time. As a result, the weight of a wiper drive unit can be decreased and its cost can be reduced.
