<p>PURPOSE:To select required strokes so as to allow a loading bed to descend by arranging both a paper loading bed and an ascent/descent drive portion on an extracting bed in a paper loading device. CONSTITUTION:When an operator moves an extracting bed 4, a paper loading portion composed of a stanchion 5 and a fork 2 and the ascent/descent drive portion of the fork 2 containing a lever 12 are moved in one body, and the coupling relationship between the fork and the lever is always maintained. If the remainder of the paper is detected as zero, the main device stops the copying operation, and a motor 8 rotates in an E direction to descend the fork 2 until the lever 12 is detected to have reached the lowest portion by a sensor 15. At the lowest portion, the loading portion can be extracted by pulling a handle 7, thus the paper can be supplied. There is no trouble at all even if the loading portion is extracted before the completion of its descent.</p> |
