<p>An application device for printing plates which can be developed by means of an applied lacquer, comprising a rub-off plush which is connected to a suitable oscillator; a lacquer supply container connected to the same oscillator, the container having a number of application openings provided in its bottom which are connected with liquid transfer ports sealed at their upper ends by ball valves in valve blocks attached to the container; the liquid transfer port in the valve block permitting flow of the lacquer from the container into the valve block, the liquid transfer port and the ball valve being so sized that on oscillation of the container the ball valve moves to open and close the liquid transfer port. This apparatus, compared to known ones, has the advantage that it is capable of simultaneously developing and lacquering a printing plate.</p> |
