WIPER DEVICE IN FAIRING FOR MOTORCYCLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of a wind-proof effect by forming a recess at the lower side of a joint section between the window screen and the front face of a fairing mainframe and providing a wiper drive unit in this recess. CONSTITUTION:A recess 2a with almost a U-shaped cross section is formed in a fairing mainframe 2. At the lower position of its joint section A with a window screen 3 along this joint section A. A unit base 2g is mounted in this recess 2a and a wiper motor 7 and a transmission mechanism 8 that varies the revolution of the output axis of this wiper motor 7 into the reciprocal movement of the wipers 4 and 5 are also mounted in this recess. Both wipers 4 and 5 are driven by wiper axes 4a and 5a through the transmission mechanism 8 by means of this wiper motor 7 and reciprocates integratedly with the wiper axes 4a and 5a centering these wiper axes 4a and 5a. As a result, any decrease in the window-proof effect can be prevented and excellent water-proofness can be maintained.
