The layout for hydraulic pressing comprises a container 1 with a space 2, connected to a high-pressure source, to accommodate a workpiece 3, a die 5, and a plug 8, which die and which plug are designed to close off the space 2 at opposite sides and are arranged in moveable locks 6, 7. The layout is provided with a power frame 13, which is supported by two plates 9, 10, which are arranged at opposite sides of the container 1 and separated from each other by a distance which is somewhat larger than the length of the container. The die 5 is arranged at the outside of the container 1 and supported by means of its lock 6 by the one plate 9, while the lock 7 of the plug 8 is supported by the other plate 10. The space 2 in the container 1 has a variable diameter along the length of the space 2, which is largest at the side where the plug 8 is arranged, so that during the hydraulic pressing it is possible to produce a force at the plug 8 which is sufficient to move the power frame 13 so that it presses the die 5 against the container 1. <IMAGE> |
