PURPOSE:To obtain a molded substance for an aromatic agent high in a perfume absorbing amount and, therefore, excellent in aroma releasability and aroma holding life, by a method wherein water is added to a mixture consisting of synthetic calcium silicate and baked gypsum in an amount of 10 times or less on the basis of wt. and the resulting composition is molded and dried. CONSTITUTION:Water is added to a mixture consisting of synthetic calcium silicate and baked gypsum in an amount of 10 times on the basis of wt. and the resulting composition is molded and dried to prepare a liquid absorbable molded substance. Because this molded substance can be molded into an optional shape and has characteristics absorbing and holding a large amount of a liquid substance such as liquid perfume or volatile deodorant, it is applied to an aromatic decorative article or an ornament used as a deodorant and the utilization range thereof is wide. For example, it is used as an aromatic agent or a deodorant molded into a figurine or an animal shape, a picture frame or accessories having aromatic as well as has lasting property of aroma relesability and, therefore, utility thereof is high. |
