PURPOSE:To improve the fault diagnosing capacity, by deciding a fault in case the characteristics of a PI controller are different from those of a model. CONSTITUTION:A fault is detected by an input signal x(t) and an output signal y(t) of a PI controller 5 to be detected. In this case, if the characteristics of the controller 5 of an actual device are different from those of a model provided to the inside of a diagnosing device 16, a fault of the controller 5 is displayed when the absolute values of the output Z(t) of an operator All, the output Z(t-L) of a time characteristic element 12 and the output epsilon(t) of an operator C14 which calculates and delivers the output lambda(t) of an operator B exceed the prescribed threshold value respectively. |
