PURPOSE:To provide a low-priced positioning table with a simple structure by providing a pulse generator, a hydraulic pressure cylinder, and a stopper device interlocked with the hydraulic pressure cylinder device upon positioning the XY table of a machine tool. CONSTITUTION:When a machine table 7 is automatically moved by a cylinder or a driving motor operated by a command from a computer, a pulse generator 16 transmits the signal of said travel distance to the computer. When the machine table reaches a set position, a piston cylinder is changed over, and said table is positioned while pressing down a stopper shaft to brake drums 3a, 3b by a brake means. After keeping the lock state of the machine table 7 and a travel board 4 for several seconds because the table deviates from a program position due to the action of inertia, the piston cylinder is changed over, allowed to travel, and positioned and fixed with re-locking. |
