PURPOSE:To reduce risk of an atomic operator for exposure to radiation and shorten the process by grinding the fitting surfaces of the keeper and sheet for the purpose of stopping the turn of a beam bolt in a jet pump of a seething water type neuclear power plant, simultaneously by remote control. CONSTITUTION:The body 9 of a welds finishing device for stopping the tur of a jet pump is planced on a floor 14 and fitted, in such a way as covering a beam bolt 3, in the condition as held by an operator. Thereafter a hydraulic cylinder 11 is inserted toward the center so that a hydraulic pump 13 heaves a keeper 7. The keeper 7 in this condition is raised to a position determined by the body 9 and held by giving an appropriate force between the keeper 7 and the sheet 6. Then the grinder part 10 is rotated manually or by motor to grind the fitting surfaces of the sheet 6 and keeper 7. Thus they can be finished into a specified degree of flatness easily. |
