The invention relates to a power train of a vehicle, including a heat engine and a pollution-control system (2, 18) comprising an integral unit mounted on an exhaust line of said engine, said unit having an oxidation catalytic converter (3, 17) and a particle filter (5), said catalytic converter (3, 17) being located upstream from said filter (5). The power train according to the invention is characterized in that the oxidation catalytic converter (17) has a bevelled input end (16) which allows the integral unit to be moved back within the exhaust line, such as to free up an end portion (9) of said line in order to provide an increased flow rate for the discharge of exhaust gases. |
