<p>The appliance contains control and/or display devices (a), using only a low electric current, in its upper zone; whereas the lower part of the appliance contains operating devices (b) requiring high electric currents. The necessary signals between the two sets of devices (a,b) are carried by at least one, and pref. two wires carrying low electric currents. Devices (a) pref. include a microprocessor and/or an electromechanical switch. The overall result is that devices (b) can be actuated by a pair of lead wires and devices (a) without transmitting heavy electric currents between the two sets of devices.</p> |
