<p>The invention is directed to a hydraulic ram. Its object is to ensure automatic venting of the compressed air chamber and thereby to keep the ram operating even under unfavourable operating conditions, that is even when the return effect of the hydraulic water column is low. This is achieved according to the invention in that the venting device comprises a pipe bridging the pressure valve, which pipe by way of an injection nozzle resembling a water jet pump and connected to the surrounding air opens out in front of the pressure valve (6).</p> |
