<p>Process comprises passing the suspension through a filter of sintered metal. To increase efficiency, the filtrate consists of an initial recirculation section fraction and a fraction which is collected later. - The first fraction has relatively high values of solids and pyridine-insolubles, and is circulated through the filter cake for 10% of the total cycle time. The cake is treated with washing solvent prior to drying, and is also treated to separate the solvent contained in it at the end of the cycle.</p> |
