<p>PURPOSE:A pressure detector is set for a gas in the drier and the heaters in the drier is operated on the basis of the detected hydrogen gas pressure, thus permitting the observation of the pressure of hydrogen gas remaining in the drier with eyes and preventing accidents caused by mistakes in operations. CONSTITUTION:In the drier 1, the outlet and inlet valves 2, 3 are closed and the hydrogen gas remaining in the drier is excluded out to the air using a vacuum pump 4 and opening the valve 5, then the drying agent in the drier is dried by means of heater 13. At this time, the pressure gauge of the pressure detector 6 on the inlet side of the drier is observed with eyes to assure whether the remaining gas is thoroughly swept out of the drier. Further, a connection point 10 which closes only within the safe pressure zone of the detector 8 is set in the circuit where the relay coil 11 is magnetized by turning on the switch 9 in the controlling box of the drier 1 and the heater 13 operates by forming the heater power circuit with the connection point 12. Thus, the connection point 10 never closes unless the hydrogen gas remaining in the drier is in the safety zone, even when the switch 9 is turned on by mistakes and the heater never operates.</p> |
