<p>PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. excellent in adhesion to vitreous or chrome plated surfaces, by incorporating a silicone resin as a binder. CONSTITUTION:An ink compsn. for ink jet recording contg. as an indispensable component a silicone resin, as a binder, [e.g., one contg. a group of formula I and/or formula II (wherein R is a lower alkyl), one contg. a group of formula III(wherein m, n are 0, 1; p is 2, 3; R is as defined above), one contg. the structure of formula IV], a dye, a surfactant, and a solvent consisting mainly of alcohols and/or ketones is yielded. When the silicone resin is modified with a titanium coupling agent, the ink compsn. will adhere sufficiently to non-polar chrome plated surfaces, and when modified with a silane coupling agent, it will adhere quickly and rigidly to vitreous surfaces.</p> |
