摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the seizure of a bearing of the supercharger by a method wherein a control command signal for performing an idle up control is stored in a non-volatile memory and the idle rotation speed of an engine is controlled in proportion to the contents of the memory at the time of idling after the re-starting of the engine. CONSTITUTION:Whether or not the engine is idled is decided at Step 100 of an idle up routine and whether or not the high load operation condition or the high speed traveling condition of the engine has been integrated for more than a set period of time is decided at Step 102. Further, whether or not a target r.p.m. to be attained by the idle speed control coincides with a set r.p.m. by which a sufficient quantity of a lubricating oil is allowed to be supplied to the supercharger is decided at Step 104. In this case, the set r.p.m. of the engine is stored in ROM in advance and in case where the target r.p.m. is less than the set r.p.m., a proper measure is taken to make the target r.p.m. coincide with the set r.p.m. Thus, it is possible to prevent the seizure of the bearing of the supercharger.
