PURPOSE:To remove the inconvenience in operation of a torque amplifier by respectively controlling drive and brake currents supplied from a power supply to a motor. CONSTITUTION:When positive or negative force is applied to a pressure detector 12, positive or negative voltage V1 is outputted. A comparator 18 outputs a signal of high or low level in response to the polarity of the voltage V1, thereby conducting transistors 5, 6 or 7, 8. A Schmitt trigger 15 compares upper and lower slice levels with the absolute value V2 of the voltage V1 as a reference value with the absolute value of an armature current, thereby controlling the ON or OFF of the transistors 4, 5. A Schmitt trigger 17 compares upper and lower slice levels with the voltage (V2+V3) as a reference value with the absolute value of the armature current, thereby controlling the transistors 5, 6 ON or OFF. |
