A heating plant comprises a heating boiler (10) having a circulating, heat carrying medium; a first heat exchanger (14) for withdrawing additional heat from a medium having a temperature that is lower than the return temperature of the medium circulating through the heating boiler; and a heat pump (21), the input side (20) of which is connected to the ouput side of the heat exchanger (14), so that a heat carrying medium can circulate between this heat exchanger and the heat pump, and the output side (22) of which is connected to a return pipe (13) for the heat carrying medium in the heating boiler, so that this medium can be heated by the heat pump. The heating plant also comprises a second heat exchanger (25) through which the exhaust gases from the heating boiler are forced to pass and which is connected to the input side (20) of the heat pump, so that the heat withdrawn from the exhaust gases is used for heating the medium circulating on the input side of the heat pump. A further heat exchanger (32) is connected between the return pipe (13) of the heating boiler and the input side (20) of the heat pump, so that heat can be transferred from the return pipe of the heating boiler to the medium circulating on the input side of the heat pump. The heating plant is intended for utilizing additional heat from e.g. the ambient air or waste water and from e.g. exhaust gases from heating boilers, the combination being used for obtaining a better operating economy. |
