The centrifugal spreader has a reservoir (2) with an adjustable discharge opening. A vertical chute-like guide member (9) is prolonged downwards, from which jet stream-like grit comes out. Subsequent guiding walls are formed at the area of a guiding wall associated at the dosing edge of the guide member.
