So as to improve productivity and stability in rolling work by mechanically and conveniently cutting a strip, provided is an apparatus for cutting a strip, which comprises: a transfer unit transferring fixed equipment while moving back and forth through a rail installed in a width direction of a strip; a transfer cylinder connected to and installed in the rear of the transfer unit through a cylinder rod to move a position of the transfer unit to a flexible portion of the cylinder rod; and a cutting unit installed to make a pair in a vertical direction in the front of the transfer unit to cut a strip in accordance with movement of the transfer unit in a state of fixing the strip.
