A customer information providing method comprises the following steps of: detecting a zone having motion from an image received from an image input device; detecting a face region from the zone having the motion; determining whether the detected face region is a wrongly detected face based a face database; extracting a feature value with respect to the face region and assigning an ID; tracking the face region based on the feature value; and counting access when the face region is out of the image or deviates from a preset region. Therefore, the method can analyze information with respect to a customer from the detected face region.
