Various embodiments of the present invention provide an electronic device and a communication channel control method thereof. The electronic device includes: a communication unit including a first communication module and a second communication module with different communication methods using overlapping frequency bands; and a processor which is connected to the first communication module and the second communication module individually and determines a usable communication channel, which is to be used by the second communication channel, based on a connected communication channel and an occupied communication channel used by the first communication module.
