SCHEME FOR SCANNING RADIO ACCESS TECHNOLOGY IN CELLULAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The present disclosure provides a scanning radio access technology method of a terminal registered in a first network in a cellular communication system. The method includes an operation for performing a non-access stratum (NAS) procedure for establishing a call; an operation of inactivating the first network connection capacity when the NAS procedure fails; an operation of checking information relating to neighboring cells and determining at least one radio access technology existing on an adjacent cell; and an operation of scanning a cell which is operated in the at least one wireless access technology based on the information relating to the neighboring cells. So, the delay of the call establishing procedure can be reduced.
