摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the unnecessary reciprocative sliding of an auxiliary piston and to simplify the structure of the titled device by a method wherein an oil pressure drive mechanism is provided in an auxiliary piston fitted in an auxiliary cylinder communicating with the combustion chamber of the internal-combustion engine and a spring for energizing the auxiliary piston backward is provided in a housing formed in the auxiliary cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary piston 9 is fitted in the auxiliary cylinder 7 communicating with the combustion chamber 5, a stem 11 is formed integral with the rear surface of the auxiliary piston 9 and an oil pressure chamber 12 is formed between the rear surface of the auxiliary piston 9 and a cover 8. An operating oil from an oil pressure source is supplied into an oil pressure chamber 12 from a port 14 attached with a check valve 13 and is discharged outside from a flowout port 16 through a passage 15 within th stem 11. Further, a bill ring 17 is slidably fitted about the stem 11 so that the position of the auxiliary piston is controlled by changing the position of the ring 17. In addition, the spring 20 for energizing the auxiliary piston backwardly is provided within the housing 19 formed in the auxiliary cylinder to thereby simplify the structure of the device and to prevent the unnecessary reciprocative sliding of the auxiliary piston resulting from the variation of the pressure in the combustion chamber.
