PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of a compressor due to an instantaneous restarting by a method wherein the operation of the compressor is stopped for a predetermined period of time by the detection of an instantaneous power failure detecting circuit for the electric source of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:When the instantaneous power failure of the electric source is caused, the potential of a connecting point 68 in the instantaneous power failure detecting circuit 61 is lowered, a diode 65 is conducted at a voltage lower than the potential of the anode of the diode 65 by 0.75V, for example, and the potential of the connecting point 34, which is the input of a first pin for an IC 52, is lowered. Thereafter, when said voltage is lowered than the potential of the connecting point 44, which is the input of the second pin for the IC 52, a signal to stop the compressor 1 is outputted from the 8th pin of the IC 52 and the compressor is stopped for a period of about 3min, therefore, the breakage of the compressor due to the instantaneous re-starting may be prevented. |
