PURPOSE:To prevent the movement of an island, and to stabilize assembly by pressing and fixing the island hanging lead of a lead frame by a rigid material. CONSTITUTION:The island hanging leads 5 as two important positions fixing the islands 5 of the lead frame are held down by a rigid material section 8, and escapes 9 in case of the press of an elastic material are utilized and the variance of the thickness of lead sections is absorbed in other lead sections 6, thus applying pressure to all the leads. Slits are formed obliquely to the pipe of the rigid material section 8 in order to prevent the intrusion of the leads into the clearances of the slits. Accordingly, since the two important positions can be fixed by the rigid material, the island 4 is not moved, and assembly is stabilized. |
