PURPOSE:To fully show advantages of the faceplate of anti-browning glass and reduce the secular degradation of the optical output by using a terbium activated yttrium.aluminum.gallium garnet phosphor. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor screen is constituted by providing a phosphor layer on the inner surface of the faceplate glass that forms a part of a vacuum enclosure and X is regulated to 0<=x<=1 by incorporating lithium oxide (Li2O) of 0.3 to 3.0 weight percentage in the faceplate glass and making the said phosphor layer composed of terbium activated yttrium.aluminum.gallium garnet Y3(Al1-xGax)5O12:Tb. |
