The feeding system is for a number of untethered animals, e.g. pigs at their respective positions in the same sty. Portions of fodder(1) are delivered to each destribution point(18) during a feeding period, each period, each portion not exceeding a few mouthfuls, and at intervals such as to correspond with the desired feeding rate of each animal. Dry fodder(1) can be used, an appropriate quantity of liq. being delivered to each distribution point(18) for each portion of dry fodder, to form moist mouthful portions for the pigs to eat. |
