PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of the utilization efficiency of a transfer member material to reduce the consumption amount thereof, constituted in such a mechanism that a transfer member and a recording medium are independently supplied and the opposed positional relation of the transfer member and a thermal recording means is renewed only when transfer positions are overlapped. CONSTITUTION:A recording medium 2 is supplied every one bit width regardless of the presence or the absence of dot overlapping while a transfer member 1 is supplied every one bit width only when transfer positions are overlapped. An add circuit adds the data of the a latch circuit 7 and the data of a register 11 to renew the data of said register 11 while a collation circuit 12 operates the logic products of the data of the latch circuit 7 and the data of the register 11 every each dot to operate the logical sum of said logic products. Comparative collation of the data of the previous stage and that of the present stage is carried out and the output of the collation circuit 12 becomes one when even one overlapping of a transfer position is present while said overlapping is absent, it becomes zero. An AND gate 13 is subjected to opening and closing control by the output of the circuit. |
