PURPOSE:To produce magnetic heads with a small number of work processes to improve the productivity, by making a front core block and a rear core block into one body with a case block to form a head block and cutting this head block into plural pieces. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin 4 is mounted in the center part of a rear core block 10, and the rear core block 10 and a front core block 9 are matched to each other and are set in the mold of a molding machine, and a resin is molded around these blocks to form a case block 12, and the front core block 9 and the rear core block 10 are fixed in the case block 12 to obtain a head block 11. The head block 11 is cut into plural pieces by a forming grindstone 13, and a tape slide face 8 is formed. This forming grindstone 13 is rotated for the set head block 11 to perform cutting and polishing works simultaneously and easily. Thus, plural magnetic heads A are formed simultaneously. |
