PURPOSE:To provide the titled printer which enables to omit connecting cables and can be reduced in size, by a method wherein a plurality of printing hammers driving circuit elements for exciting drivers for the hammers and a controlling circuit element for distributing printing data to the elements are provided on a circuit substrate. CONSTITUTION:A hammer bank 100 is provided in which spring-attracted type printing hammers, electromagnetic devices (release coils) 110 for driving the hammers, the driving circuit elements 124 for exciting the elements 124 and the controlling circuit element 125 for distributing the printing data to the elements 124 are provided on the circuit substrate 120. Accordingly, since the electromagnetic devices 110 and the driving circuit elements 124 can be connected to each other by a conductor patterns 123a, 123b, provided on the circuit substrate 120, it is unnecessitated to provide any connecting cables therebetween. |
