The sorting machine for recycling material emanating from road maintenance, such as side scrapings, and edge material, has a collection unit with two feed cones (6,7), and a conveyor belt (2) which conducts the material to a tumbler (3) which separates road gravel and deposits it on site. Any residual material and rubbish is conducted by a conveyor belt (4) to a dumper truck (5) for removal. The machine is automotive, driven hydrostatically with a 100 h.p. Diesel engine, and at speeds up to 5 km/h. The transport belt and tumbler are driven hydraulically. |
