PURPOSE:To obtain a nonpoisonous entitled receptor high in sensitivity, small in residual potential, nearly uniform in sensitivity to the visible region light, and suitable for color copying, by forming a layer contg. a specified org. conductor on an amorphous silicon layer provided on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous silicon layer doped with a high concn. of impurity, such as diborane to an n type is formed on a conductive substrate, such as polyester film laminated with Al, to form ohmic contact with the substrate, a nondoped amorphous silicon layer (photosensitive layer) is formed on this doped layer, and on this layer a layer is formed contg. an org. photoconductor consisting of a compound represented by formula I (A1, A2 are each phenyl or a phenyl group substd. by an electron donative group, and m, n are each 0 or 1) such as a compound of formulae II or III to obtain the entitled photoreceptor. The photoreceptor thus obtd. has good photosensitive characteristics, sensitivity to almost all of the visible region light, and sufficient sensitivity even to low lumination light, and it is appliable to a power saving use, and free from danger of inducing environmental pollution, different from a poisonous Se photoreceptor. |
