PURPOSE:To eliminate the useless processing for decision, by providing a means to decide whether the mark sheet of a transmitting message is equal to a general message sheet or a mark sheet before a primary scan of a transmitting sheet is started and then performing the processes of the message sheet and the mark sheet based on the result of the above-mentioned decision. CONSTITUTION:A mark sheet indicating mark 2 is put at the tip part of a mark sheet 1 to give a distinction between a general message sheet and a mark sheet. At the same time, the message sheet is put on a stacker 11 of a transmitting message sheet of a facsimile transmitting and then carried by the 1st feed roller 13 to the positions of a microswitch 16 which checks the presence or absence of the transmitting message and a mark sheet detector 17 which detects whether the message sheet to be read is equal to a mark sheet or a general message sheet. Then the detector 17 decides a general message sheet or a mark sheet before a primary scan is started. Based on the result of this decision, both the message sheet and the mark sheet are processed at a signal processing part 21. In such a way, the useless processing for decision can be eliminated. |
