PURPOSE:To lighten a burden of an engine driving a compressor by stopping the compressor and excecuting demist operation for a low temperature period when the temperature of the outside air is lower than set temperature when removing a cloud of the inner surface of a window glass for an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A blower 4 for introducing the inside and outside air, the compressor for cooling an evaporator 5, an air mixing door 7, a blow-off mode changeover door 3 and inside and outside air changeover doors 8, 9 of the air conditioner for the car are controlled by a controller on the basis of signals from a demist switch. When the temperature of the outside air is compared with a first set temperature and the former is lower than the latter at that time, the blower 4 is turned at high speed, the compressor is stopped, the blow-off mode changeover doors 8, 9 are set at defrost modes, the inside and outside air changeover door 3 is set at an outside air introducing mode, and demist operation A is executed. When the former is higher than the latter, the compressor is operated, demist operation X is executed, the number of revolution of the blower is decelerated after set time passes, and the capability of demisting is reduced. |
