PURPOSE:To provide higher pressure durable strength, higher performance of heat transmission to heat medium fluid and compact size for a metal hydride contained reservoir of an insulating one wherein metal tubes are positioned in the properly spaced arrangement by manufacturing said reservoir in the cylindrical form. CONSTITUTION:A reservoir 2 consists of a molded pipe 2a which is made of asbestos or the like and two opposite end parts 2b each of which is molded from asbestos in the cup-like form. said end parts having a heat medium fluid inlet pipe 6 and a heat medium fluid outlet pipe 7 connected thereto, respectively. The suitable number of insulating separation plates 8 which are made of asbestos or the like are properly spaced inside the cylindrical reservoir 2 in the alternate relation. Each of the separation plates 8 has circular holes 8 through which tubes 4 are to pass and a semicircular notch 8b in positions. Due to the cylindrical form of the reservoir 2, it is allowed to be made thinner, comparing that an ordinary one gains the same pressure durable strength, hence facilitating the reduction of heat capacity and cost. |
