PURPOSE:To form effectively compressed air to improve efficiency of energy conversion by converting the motion of an arm mounted on a float to the piston motion of a cylinder for compression of air to introduce the formed air into an accumulator on land for driving and air motor or the like. CONSTITUTION:A swing arm 3 provided on the end with a float 2 and swung by the change in wave height is supported on the outer surface of a container floating on the sea. The motion of the swing arm 3 is converted to the eciprocating motion of a piston 12 in an air compressing cylinder 11 incorporated in the container by a motion converting mechanism 10, and compressed air thus produced is introduced into an accumulator 8 disposed on land through a flexible hose 27. The compressed air supplied from the accumulator 8 drives an air motor 30 or air turbine and a generator 9 directly connected thereto the provide electric energy. |
