A device is proposed which positively and/or nonpositively connects a cardanically mounted element to a fixed housing when vibrations or shocks occur. For this purpose, a toggle lever (10, 11) is provided, the first link (10) of which engages with a nose-shaped projection (12) in cut-outs (20) in a sleeve (8). The sleeve (8) is part of the cardanically mounted element. The second link (11) of the toggle lever is tensioned by a cable (15) via a sleeve (13). Counteracting the tension of the cable is a spring held between the baseplate (24) and the sleeve (13). If the toggle lever is to be released, i.e. the cardanically mounted element is to be released, the cable (16) is separated with a separating device (19), the spring (15) releases the toggle lever and the toggle lever in turn releases the cardanic mounting. <IMAGE> |
