The invention relates to a contact element for contacting a shielded cable in a shielded manner. The contact element comprises firstly a spring contact element (1) having an annular portion (3) and a plurality of spring contacts (2) that are connected to the annular portion on the circumference thereof, and secondly a crimping sleeve (6) which can be connected to the annular portion of the spring contact element, the crimping sleeve and the spring contact element forming a hollow space when joined. The crimping sleeve can completely accommodate an exposed portion of the braided shield provided for contacting. |
