PURPOSE:To secure a view field necessary for starting running by forming no frozen layer of frost in a wiping area of a wiper with an intermittent driving thereof when the temperature of outside air lowers below a specified value during the parking. CONSTITUTION:A wiper intermittent driver B of a wiper motor 20 is fitted with a frosting prevention time relay 12 adapted to conduct current from a battery 16 at an interval to the extent free from exerting adverse effect on the start up of the engine by discharge of the battery 16, a frosting prevention switch 13 adapted to conduct current to the time relay 12 from the battery and a outside air temperature sensor 22 for actuating the relay 12 when the temperature of air outside a car lowers below a specified value. With such an arrangement, only if the switch 13 is closed before-hand, the time relay 12 is actuated with the sensor 22 to drive the motor 20 intermittently at said interval when the temperature of outside air lowers below a specified value. |
